The Summer Stay-cation!

Amazing flowers at the Met, NYC
This summer we decided to stay-cation a bit! The Cape and Islands beckoned us. Along with family from Texas and California, we celebrated local cuisine and boutiques! Our trip to Nantucket was welcomed by all those dog lovers who were on the same ferry! Our one year old PWD, Shadow was treated like royalty! He was petted, fed treats, welcomed in shops and given iced water. Tourists came to take photos with him, maybe a case of mistaken identity? All in all, the weather was glorious and we ate, drank and celebrated by swimming in the Atlantic!
The US Open in NYC- so inspiring to watch!

We ventured into the Big Apple for inspiration towards the end of the summer. Some back to school shopping, eating in various restaurants and finally going for a day to attend the US Open. Though we were caught in some rain, it was a very inspiring experience to see what a wonderful event it is. Specially since it's just a car or train ride away!

Flowers, Graduations and Mother's Day!

May is here with sunshine, flowers, proms, graduations and Mother's Day! We are showing the new styles at the Liberty Hotel on May 9th at 10 pm.  Looking forward to it!

April took us away from Boston to the sunny shores of Abaco Island in the Bahamas. Included are some pictures of the trip. The water was shades of turquoise and aquamarine blue. The turtles, corral reef and shell viewing was spectacular. The beaches were pristine and unspoiled by having few tourists. We swam, kayaked, walked, snorkeled and ate! It was a very relaxing week under the sun and palm trees.

Coming back to Boston was hard as the bombs had exploded during the marathon while we were traveling. But the city and it's citizens are strong and we all take pride in it.
