Hippie or Up cycled Chic!

A visit to the Museum of Fine Arts brought a rich treasure of inspiration. Including the main statue wearing a Red Sox shirt! Boston Strong!

The Hippie Chic exhibit at the MFA was not only inspiring but validated our designs in the form of east west fusion that was going on in the 60s and 70s.

It seems like fashion has come full circle in these decades

The kind of clothing and aesthetic that was popular during the hippie phase is back and more main stream now with fusion fashions like our designs.

Our designs are a fusion of Indian and eastern fabrics in western designs and silhouettes and the designs below use the same principals.

Our next show is at MIT Trashion show on Dec 6th. Hope to see you there. Meanwhile, wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and Holiday season.

The Summer Stay-cation!

Amazing flowers at the Met, NYC
This summer we decided to stay-cation a bit! The Cape and Islands beckoned us. Along with family from Texas and California, we celebrated local cuisine and boutiques! Our trip to Nantucket was welcomed by all those dog lovers who were on the same ferry! Our one year old PWD, Shadow was treated like royalty! He was petted, fed treats, welcomed in shops and given iced water. Tourists came to take photos with him, maybe a case of mistaken identity? All in all, the weather was glorious and we ate, drank and celebrated by swimming in the Atlantic!
The US Open in NYC- so inspiring to watch!

We ventured into the Big Apple for inspiration towards the end of the summer. Some back to school shopping, eating in various restaurants and finally going for a day to attend the US Open. Though we were caught in some rain, it was a very inspiring experience to see what a wonderful event it is. Specially since it's just a car or train ride away!

Coconut ice cream at Spice Market in the Meat Packing district NYC. Beautiful decor and fusion south Asian cuisine. A great mix.
